Hyderabad: Cyberabad SOT Balanagar team along with Shameerpet police busted trafficking of dry ganja from Odisha to Maharashtra via Telangana State and nabbed four drug peddlers of Haryana and seized 243 kg of dry ganja, a Bolero pickup vehicle with household items worth of Rs 95 lakh. A case has been registered.

Acting on a tip-off, the sleuths apprehended the drug peddlers identified as Bajarang, Gajender Singh, Naresh Kumar Chingla and Kapil Sharma.

Bajarang, aged 23, works in State Cargo Packers and Movers. He is a native of Kudal (V), Loharo (Thasil) Biwani District, Haryana. He was residing at Military Dairy Form, Bowenpally working as driver-cum-peddler.

Gajender Singh alias Gajju, aged 26, working for Seven Hills Packers and Movers & mobile repairs shop, Caste Rajput, native of Rajsamand village, Udaipur district, Rajasthan and residing at SR Nagar Colony, New Bowenpally, here.

Naresh Chingla alias Naresh, aged 40, second hand vehicle dealer resident of Katwar (V), Thosam (Thasil), Mewat Dist of Haryana (financer for buying Ganja from Odisha).

Kapil Sharma, aged 28, internet business, native of Gohana Town, Gohana District, Haryana, residing at Alwal --financer for buying Ganja. Rakesh of Lathur, Maharastra main receiver and Subhash of Odisha State main supplier were absconding. Recently, when the accused reached near Shameerpet ORR Junction, the SOT Cyberabad, Balanagar team and Shameerpet Police apprehended them.

The arrests were made under the guidance of N. Koti Reddy, DCP, Medchal Zone, D Srinivas, DCP, SOT, Cyberabad, P Shobhan Kumar, Addl DCP, SOT-II, Cyberabad, K Ramulu, ACP, Petbasheerabad, Shiva Kumar, Inspector of Police, SOT Balanagar team and S Srinath, Inspector of Police, Shameerpet PS and teams.
